Warehousing, transportation and
packaging are operationally unique and so the delivery of two or more
together to our customers in a combined service requires
coordination, communication and an organizational structure that
maximizes the performance of the collective effort.
Our
current customers benefit in at least two ways from a consistent and
long-term market focus that Wagner has held for many years.
First, we know what we do well and so our resources are concentrated
to provide the highest benefit to our three service channels. Case in
point: our major investments in WMS and TMS technologies will offer
value to our customers in all three channels.
Second,
how we grow and in what direction affects our current customers.
Wagner’s consistent commitment to its market focus ensures that
Wagner will devote its energies to new customers that share common
need and resources. In other words, Wagner wants to drive depth
and not pursue “far-ranging” offerings that drive breadth but
weaken the overall effort.
