Press Release – Wagner Achieves Record Safety Performance

Wagner posted 4.18 injuries per 200,000 hours worked in 2009 compared to a goal of 6.0 and an Industry Average of 7.91. Fifty-seven percent of operating divisions reported zero recordable accidents. Mike Moon, Vice President of Human Resources states “Much of the success is attributable to the division’s high level of participation in Wagner’s Safety Contact Program initiated in 2006. Since the inception of the Safety Contact Program our accident rate has continued to decline year after year. Wagner prides itself on being a safe employer.”
